The new king of the super middleweight division, Terence Crawford (42-0, 31 KOs), admitted that ever since his triumph over Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez (63-3-2, 39 KOs), his days have been filled with nonstop calls and interview requests.
-- “My phone hasn’t stopped ringing. Everyone wants an interview, but I try to live simply and calmly. I’m sorry to my fans that I can’t answer all the messages — I hope you understand. It’s just been madness,” Crawford said.
Despite the frenzy, the champion emphasized that his main focus remains on his loved ones and recovery after the grueling fight. “Right now, family and rest are the most important things for me,” he added.
Crawford’s victory over Canelo marked a milestone in boxing history: he became the first male fighter in the four-belt era to claim undisputed status in three different weight classes, solidifying his place among the sport’s all-time greats.
